‘You have to pay’ – Man City boss Pep Guardiola leaves traffic warden in hysterics after being handed parking ticket

Pep Guardiola left a traffic warden in stitches after being handed a parking ticket for appearing to park on double yellow lines in Manchester.

The Man City boss was filmed by a passer-by having an exchange with the traffic warden in the city.

Guardiola had a humorous exchange with the traffic wardenTikTok

He had been given a parking ticket before the traffic warden then made a cheeky request for a selfie.

The video, that was posted on TikTok, then captured Guardiola‘s funny response.

He said: “You want a picture? You have to pay for the picture!”

That reply from the 52-year-old saw the traffic warden crack up.

Guardiola should be able to pay the fine, however, as he is reportedly the highest paid manager in the Premier League.

He is believed to have an annual salary of around £20million.

That salary Man City pay him is somewhat justified after he delivered a historic treble for the club last season.

Guardiola has already delivered five Premier League titles for City and is well on his way to defending their crown.

They have made a perfect start to the 2023/24 season with two victories from two, and have already won the Super Cup after beating Sevilla.

City are yet to concede a goal in the Premier League, beating Burnley 3-0 and then Newcastle 1-0.

They will look to keep that run going with a trip to Sheffield United on Sunday.
