The Etihad outfit would become the first team in history to win four English top-flight titles on the bounce if they continue to dominate.

But City suffered a blow to their pre-season preparations after losing to Arsenal in the the Community Shield – their third successive loss in the Premier League curtain raiser.

They will now be involved in a title-winners showdown against Championship victors Burnley, exclusively live on talkSPORT.

This Premier League clash will take place on Friday, August 11. 

Kick-off at Turf Moor is scheduled for 8pm.

The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event, with coverage starting from 6:30pm.
