Transfer notebook: Sofyan Amrabat to snub Saudi for Manchester United, Eberechi Eze stalls on new Crystal Palace contract, West Ham eye Folarin Balogun swoop

Sofyan Amrabat is reportedly eager to join Manchester United and is willing to turn down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia. Al Ahli, the Saudi Pro League team, is interested in bringing Amrabat to their club. However, sources close to the Fiorentina player, who represented Morocco in the World Cup semi-finals in Qatar, claim that he is solely focused on joining the Red Devils. Amrabat has been on the radar of Erik ten Hag, the manager of Dutch side Utrecht, since his youth days.

In order to finance a move for Amrabat, Manchester United will need to sell either Donny van de Beek, who is being pursued by Real Sociedad, or Fred, who is a target for Galatasaray.

Crystal Palace is facing a battle to retain Michael Olise, as both Chelsea and Manchester City have shown strong interest in the player. Palace expects formal bids for Olise before the transfer window closes. Although the £35m release clause in his contract has been removed, there is still a mechanism in place that allows him to leave if offers are made. Additionally, Palace has offered Olise’s teammate Eberechi Eze a new long-term contract, but the England international is hesitant to sign.

West Ham is considering a potential move for Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun, who is looking to leave the club. With doubts surrounding the future of Michail Antonio and flop Italian Gianluca Scamacca eyeing a move to Inter Milan, West Ham is seeking to strengthen their front-line. Balogun, who scored 21 goals on loan at French club Reims last season, has attracted interest from several Premier League sides.

Leeds captain Liam Cooper is facing a tempting offer from Saudi Arabia, which tests his commitment to getting Leeds back into the Premier League. Cooper, who has been with Leeds since 2014 and was part of their last promotion-winning side, expressed his dedication to the club on social media after their relegation from the Premier League. However, Al Qadsiah, managed by Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler, is interested in signing the 31-year-old Scotland international.

Lastly, talkSPORT has introduced a new match center where football fans can stay updated with the latest fixtures, results, and standings. The match center provides information on Premier League fixtures, the Premier League table, all fixtures and results, and all league tables.
Transfer rumours dominated the headlines in the English Premier League this week, with Manchester United, Crystal Palace and West Ham United all making significant moves in the transfer market.

Manchester United have reportedly struck a deal to sign Dutch midfielder Sofyan Amrabat from Italian side Verona. The 24-year-old has signed a four-year contract and will join up with the Red Devils in the summer.

The deal is an exciting one for Manchester United, as Amrabat is an excellent creative midfielder who is capable of providing a cutting edge to United’s attack. He has drawn comparisons to current United star Bruno Fernandes, but his talent is certainly no less in terms of creativity.

Crystal Palace have reportedly placed their trust in Eberechi Eze, and are urging the midfielder to sign a new long-term deal with the club. Eze has been in fantastic form for Palace this season, and is widely regarded as one of the division’s hottest prospects.

However, the 22-year-old is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal, and with clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City reportedly monitoring his progress at Palace, the Eagles must be prepared to dig deep to keep him at Selhurst Park.

Finally, West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal forward Folarin Balogun on a free transfer this summer. The 19-year-old has been in excellent form for the Gunners this season, and is expected to leave in search of regular first-team football.

West Ham are seen as the favourites to land the highly-rated forward, and are likely to have plenty of competition for his signature.

With the transfer window set to open in the summer, all three of the aforementioned clubs will certainly be busy in the coming weeks and months.
