‘That’s laughable’ – Fans can’t believe Nicolas Jackson’s miss for Chelsea against Bournemouth

Chelsea fans were in disbelief at a miss from striker Nicolas Jackson against Bournemouth on Sunday.

Goals have been a problem for the Blues this season and had only scored five times before their trip to the south coast.

Goals continued to elude them again with several chances coming and going as both sides could not break the deadlock.

Raheem Sterling hit the crossbar from a free-kick before Levi Colwill put the rebound in the net, only for the offside flag to be raised.

Jackson then had an opportunity that left Chelsea fans tearing their hair out.

The striker was played through on the left and went for a shot at a tight angle, but was off balance and missed the target by a considerable distance.

It left Blues fans bemused and bewildered by the shot.

One wrote: “Lol. Jackson that was TERRIBLE.”

Another said: “Wtf Jackson.”

A third wrote: “What did Jackson just do there? That’s laughable. Good pass from Ugochukwu to play him in.”
