It comes amid intense speculation over a move for Lucas PaquetaGetty
The Belgian midfielder is facing the prospect of four months on the sidelines, meaning that City could be forced into the market to sign a replacement for him.
Asked who will replace De Bruyne, Guardiola said: “Another one. We miss him but we will be close to him and we have incredible doctors.
“Another one is coming in.”
One player who has been heavily linked with a move to Man City is Lucas Paqueta.
The Brazilian midfielder is seen as a priority signing, however the treble-winners will need to match the £95million valuation set by West Ham.
Having arrived from Lyon last summer, Paqueta has made 42 appearances for West Ham, scoring five goals and creating seven more in all competitions.
