Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United will renew their rivalry in the Premier League this Friday night, live on talkSPORT.

Both sides are bidding to pick up their first points of the season, with Forest losing 2-1 to Arsenal while the Blades were beaten 1-0 by Crystal Palace.

The upcoming top-flight clash marks the first meeting between the two teams since Forest edged out United on penalties in the Championship play-off semi-final in 2022.

Forest boss Cooper teased that Taiwo Awoniyi and Moussa Niakhate could both return to the starting eleven after regaining fitness.

The hosts do have several confirmed absentees, with defenders Felipe and Omar Richards and goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey all out.

United have an extensive injury list of their own, with Oli McBurnie the closest to returning.

Gus Hamer and Tom Davies could make their debuts, but Rhian Brewster, John Fleck, Jayden Bogle and Ismaila Coulibaly will all remain sidelined.
