Mason Greenwood is set to be reinstated by EA Sports for their upcoming game as he continues his return to football.
Greenwood has been exiled from the popular video game franchise since he was removed from FIFA 22 following his arrest in January last year.

The 21-year-old was taken out of active squads and was absent from offline modes including kick-off, as well as multiplayer matches.
Greenwood was also taken out of Ultimate Team (FUT) packs and Ultimate Draft and didn’t appear at all in FIFA 23.
But he has been preparing for a comeback since charges of attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service in February.
EA Sports initially decided against adding his data back into the game midway through FIFA 23’s cycle as he became the subject of an internal Manchester United investigation.
However, following his loan switch to Getafe, the American publisher will add Greenwood back into their upcoming EA Sports FC 24 – a replacement for the FIFA-branded video game.
A statement released to talkSPORT.com read: “EA SPORTS FC 24 authentically reflects the active rosters of teams and clubs in the real world of football.
“As he is now part of an active roster with Getafe CF, Mason Greenwood will be included in FC 24.
“As Greenwood was not part of an active roster at the time of our cut-off date for final team and player data, he will not appear in Ultimate Team at launch.”

Greenwood, who has one England cap, made his Ultimate Team debut as a 67-rated silver card on FIFA 20.
He subsequently appeared in the next two editions of the franchise, with his card being a 78-rated rare gold item at the time of his removal.
It is yet to be revealed whether he will maintain that rating in EA FC 24 having not played professional football since January 2022.
