Mark Clattenburg who got whipped by IShowSpeed returning as referee for Sidemen charity match

Mark Clattenburg is back for this year’s Sidemen charity clash after a eventful 2022 match.

The former Premier League official took charge of the thrilling match between Sidemen FC and YouTube All Stars at Charlton Athletic’s Valley Stadium, which ended 8-7 to the former.

While the match encountered plenty of memorable moments, there were none more so than Clattenburg getting whipped on his backside by IShowSpeed.

The American streamer, who has 11.2million YouTube subscribers, scored with a fine finish after being through on goal.

After turning away and celebrating producing Cristiano Ronaldo‘s famous ‘SIUU’ celebration, the 17-year-old was denied his moment of glory by the offside flag.

He can then be seen chasing down Clattenburg, took off his shirt and joking with the ref.

Clattenburg was good natured about it, but Speed was shown a yellow card in the process.

Last years event raised £1million for Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), Teenage Cancer Trust and Rays of Sunshine and has been streamed more than 30 million times.

This year, they’ve moved up to West Ham’s London Stadium and have sold out the 60,000-seater stadium.

KSI will skipper the Sidemen team before he takes on Tommy Fury in the boxing ring in October.

MrBeast, one of the best known YouTubers in the world, along with Speed, will form part of the YouTube All-Stars side.

Manchester United fan Mark Goldbridge will manage the YouTube All-Stars team, just as he did last year.

Billy Wingrove, best known for being one half of the freestyle football duo F2, will be the man in charge of Sidemen FC.
