Manchester United ‘provisionally target’ four ‘significant’ signings for next summer
Manchester United have reportedly already kicked off their preparations for next summer’s spending.
The transfer window closed just 11 days ago, with the Premier League giants spending around £178million on new signings.

United welcomed Mason Mount, Andre Onana, Rasmus Hojlund, Altay Bayindir and Sofyan Amrabat to the club.
They also sold stars including Dean Henderson, Anthony Elanga and Fred as part of a squad overhaul.
Despite playing just four games so far this season, it seems United are already looking to strengthen ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
As reported by the Manchester Evening News, Erik ten Hag’s side have ‘provisionally targeted’ four positions for new signings.
Full-back, centre-back, central midfield and attack are said to be the areas eyed for ‘significant’ signings.
The report says Bayer Leverkusen stars Jeremie Frimpong and Edmond Tapsoba were both linked with moves to Old Trafford during the summer.
Brighton’s latest prospect Evan Ferguson is one player who United have been monitoring and even though his contract runs until 2028, he could be set to move.
United could also be set to sanction a number of sales next summer as they look to refresh the talent in their squad.

Man United have been linked with a move for former Aston Villa and Everton forward Anwar El Ghazi, who is currently a free agent, but talkSPORT understands an approach for the Dutch international will not happen.
The report comes amid the uncertainty over the futures of Antony and Jadon Sancho.
Antony’s return to the club will be delayed after allegations of domestic abuse were made against him, claims that he denies.
After infuriating Ten Hag over claims he lied about his performances in training, Sancho is set for crunch talks with him over his future.
