Manchester United in ‘advanced talks’ with American technology company in potential £60million-a-year deal
Manchester United are reported to be in discussions with an American technology company to be their new front-of-shirt sponsor.
The Premier League giants have donned the German-based firm TeamViewer on their kits since the 2021/22 season began.

United agreed a five-year deal with the company worth around £235million having previously had Chevrolet on the front.
However, it appears as though there could be a change to such a sponsor, although it is unlikely to come any time soon.
As reported by The Athletic, United are in ‘advanced talks’ with the technology company Qualcomm.
They were eyeing a deal that would see them earn £60million-a-year through the sponsorship.
Qualcomm, who manufacture hardware for telecommunications, in fact already have promotion with the club.
United agreed a deal last August to promote Snapdragon, a subsidiary brand to Qualcomm that powers mobile phones and other devices.
TeamViewer announced last year that they do not wish to renew their deal with the club.
United were then on hand to reach an agreement with them to hold the option of buying back their front-of-shirt sponsorship rights.
Qualcomm could be the next company to have such a sponsorshipAFP
Back on the pitch, Erik ten Hag’s side have had a mixed start to the season.
Their final match before the international break saw them fall to a 3-1 defeat away at Arsenal.
United have won twice and also lost twice so far, with the club sitting 11th in the table after four matches.
