Luke Shaw being out for ‘a number of weeks’ has Manchester United fans fuming over another setback
A difficult start to the season has got even worse for Manchester United with Luke Shaw out for ‘a number of weeks’.
Shaw is a key player for the Red Devils, helping them to Carabao Cup success last season as well as qualification back into the Champions League.

But the Red Devils are without him for the foreseeable with Man United confirming he will not be available for ‘forthcoming games’.
A club statement read: “Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has sustained an injury which will rule him out of forthcoming games.
“The muscle issue is still being assessed but the England left-back is expected to be out of action for a number of weeks.”
The setback makes him a doubt for England’s upcoming internationals against Ukraine and Scotland next month.
Man United are short at left-back as a result, with Tyrell Malacia nursing an injury sustained in pre-season.
Meanwhile, they loaned out another left-back earlier on Thursday, with Brandon Williams joining Ipswich for the remainder of the campaign.
This is the latest in a growing line of setbacks for Man United this season with their slow start seeing them lose to Tottenham last weekend and scrape past relegation candidates Wolves in their opener.
Summer signing Mason Mount is sidelined for potentially six weeks with a hamstring injury and a humbling in a behind-closed doors friendly against Burnley has certainly brought the mood down among Man United fans.

And following the news about Shaw, it’s safe to say these Man United fans don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel.
“Wtf is going on with my club?” one fan said.
“Oh it just gets better and better, doesn’t it?” another added.
“Since this season started we literally haven’t had any good news [crying emojis],” this fan sarcastically said.
“Season over,” another said.
“Restart the season please,” this fan said in contrast.
