The 31-year-old, who has two-years left on his current deal at Anfield, has managed 309 appearances, 188 goals and 81 assists, since joining the club from Roma in 2017.
According to The Athletic, the Reds are running the rule over 26-year-old Bowen as a potential replacement, should they decide to cash in.
The report adds Klopp’s side admire Bowen and have been watching for a number of seasons.
Bowen’s contract at West Ham is up in 2025, the same as Salah’s, but the Hammers are keen to tie their star forward down to a new deal.
The former Hull City star has had a bright start to the new campaign, with three goals and an assist in four games.
Since joining West Ham in January 2020, Bowen has managed 43 goals and 32 assists in 162 appearances.
Whilst these are not Salah’s numbers, there is certainly optimism he would flourish in a more attacking role under Klopp.
