Lamine Yabal becomes Spain’s youngest ever player as Barcelona wonderkid scores just 30 minutes into debut

Lamine Yamal’s remarkable rise has continued after becoming Spain’s youngest player and scorer on Friday night.

The Barcelona ace broke two records for Spain as they destroyed Georgia 7-1 in a Euro qualifier.

Yamal came off the bench to replace Dani Olmo just before half-time.

It saw the teenager become the youngest player to ever play for Spain at the age of 16 years and 57 days.

But Yamal’s night would go one better when he would go on to score within 30 minutes of his debut.

That made the Barca ace Spain’s youngest-ever scorer as well while his rise to stardom has been meteoric in recent months.

Xavi gave the teen his debut last season and he has since played every game in La Liga this campaign.

It saw Spain boss Luis de la Fuente call up the winger to the first-team squad but no one expected the youngster to go on and score on his debut.

Yamal smashed the previous record for Spain’s youngest player, which was set by his Barcelona teammate Gavi, who was 17 years and 62 days old.

Nico Williams’ darting run helped set up Yamal, who exhibited a remarkable amount of composure to take a moment before delivering a pinpoint shot into the corner.

The forward has played for Spain at every youth level and has been tipped to become a superstar.

There are even early comparisons to Kylian Mbappe, who is one of the best players in the world after a very early start at Monaco and then Paris Saint-Germain.

He could have chosen to represent Morocco, though he did grow up in the Barcelona region.

Spain take on Cyprus next in their Euro qualifiers on Tuesday and De la Fuente could decide to start Yamal.
