Mbappe has just one year left on his deal at PSG, who believe he already has an agreement to join Real Madrid next year.
His management are said to be unwilling to engage with the club over a new deal that could see him leave for a fee next summer.
Amid such a dispute, Mbappe was barred from training and was included in a ‘loft’ training group instead.
However, Le Parisien report that the 24-year-old has ‘decided to stay’ at PSG this summer ‘no matter what’.
He is said to have informed club president Nasser Al Khelaifi of such a decision in what was a ‘lively face-to-face interview’.
It was reported in July that Chelsea were considering what would have been a sensational summer move for him.
Barcelona and Al Hilal have also shown interest, but it looks like Mbappe isn’t going anywhere for the upcoming campaign.
PSG also accepted an offer from a Premier League club for the Frenchman, but personal terms were not agreed.
Mbappe is set to play in his seventh season at PSG after he initially signed on loan from Monaco in 2017.
He has scored 212 goals and assisted another 98 in 260 appearances during that time, cementing his status as one of the world’s best.
Mbappe has also won five Ligue 1 titles throughout his spell at the Parcs des Prince, as well as seven other domestic honours.
A World Cup winners’ medal also sits on his impressive list of accolades as he prepares for what is set to be his final season at PSG.
