Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has been tipped to become a future club captain as fans hailed his gesture towards Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The 20-year-old proved to be Los Blancos’ hero for the third LaLiga match running after scoring a late winner in Friday night’s 1-0 win at Celta Vigo.

But the England international was quick to tell the travelling Madrid fans who they should be applauding following the full-time whistle.

Bellingham ushered over Kepa – on loan from Chelsea – to the visiting supporters after he had kept a clean sheet on his debut.

The young midfielder could be seen pointing towards the Spanish goalkeeper as the pair took in the applause from the Real faithful.

Football fans were loving the incredible gesture, as they lauded Bellingham for his leadership skills at such a young age.

Taking to social media, one user tweeted: “Jude Bellingham already showing future captain characteristics.”

Another posted: “Leader mentality.”

A third added: “Captain material. Jude Bellingham.”

This supporter then messaged: “I’m seeing Jude Bellingham becoming a captain at Real Madrid one day. Leadership qualities.”

Real defender David Alaba waxed lyrical over the ex-Borussia Dortmund star following the match, as he remarked: “Bellingham is crazy.

“I don’t know what to say, I’m speechless. He is a good boy, he is very talented and works very hard in training.

“He has many qualities and he proves it every week.”
