Jadon Sancho could make Manchester United exit TODAY as Saudi clubs target late transfer

Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho is being targeted for a last-minute move to the Saudi Pro-League, talkSPORT understands.

The Saudi Arabian transfer window closes on Thursday night and Manchester United declined to comment on the prospect of Sancho joining former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in the Middle East.

United officials are understood to have stood by manager Erik Ten Hag after Sancho publicly hit back at the Dutchman’s claims he had not produced enough in training to be picked for Sunday’s trip to Arsenal.

Explaining his decision to drop Sancho, Ten Hag said: “Jadon, on his performances in training we did not select him.

“You have to reach a level every day at Manchester United and we can make choices in the front line. So for this game he was not selected.”

But Sancho has hit back at Ten Hag’s claim, saying that he has been made a scapegoat at the club.

The 23-year-old said on social media: “Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue.

“I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I have been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!

“All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team. I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge. I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”

Sancho has played 82 times for Man United since his transfer from DortmundGetty

Sancho joined Man United from Borussia Dortmund two years ago in a bumper £73million deal.

However, he has struggled to replicate his best form at Old Trafford scoring just 12 times in 82 games.
