Jadon Sancho banished from first-team training as Manchester United release blunt statement on ‘discipline issue’
Jadon Sancho has been banished from Manchester United first-team training while a ‘discipline issue’ is resolved.
The Red Devils winger recently hit out at manager Erik ten Hag on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Sancho’s future at Old Trafford looks very uncertainGetty
Manager Ten Hag had claimed Sancho did not train well enough to be included in the squad to face Arsenal, which the 23-year-old strongly denied in a since-deleted post.
The Englishman, who signed for United in a £73million deal in 2021, arrived back at Carrington for crunch talks on Thursday.
And now the Red Devils have confirmed he will train alone for the foreseeable future.
A brief club statement read: “Jadon Sancho will remain on a personal training programme away from the first-team group, pending resolution of a squad discipline issue.”
