Kane, who left Tottenham for Bayern in an £85million deal, rising to £100m, was kept off the scoresheet in his debut cameo against Leipzig in the German Super Cup.
However, he looked far sharper in his first start, nailing a perfect first-time pass to Sane, who ran through and opened the scoring.
Speaking on commentary, former Liverpool and Bayern midfielder Didi Hamann said: “This is just brilliant by Kane.
“This is what he gives, he’s not just a goalscorer, he’s got a very good eye for his teammates and he’s technically very gifted.
“He plays a perfect ball into Sane’s path even on his weaker foot.”
