Harry Kane claims he can add leadership to Bayern Munich after teammates ‘had confidence knocked’ in RB Leipzig defeat
Harry Kane believes he will add leadership to Bayern Munich after being part of their 3-0 defeat to RB Leipzig in the German Supercup.
The Bundesliga giants conceded the first goal with just three minutes on the clock, something which Kane felt had a huge bearing on the result.

The 30-year-old made his debut in the clash, coming on in the 63rd minute of the game with the scoreline 2-0.
But he failed to inspire his new colleagues and managed just three touches of the ball as they conceded another goal to confirm defeat.
After the game, manager Thomas Tuchel apologised to Kane.
“We don’t expect him to be the superhero,” the ex-Chelsea boss said. “We just expect him to be who he is. A top guy, a top goalscorer and a top personality.
“I feel sorry for him. We did not create. We did not keep the momentum going. We did not create enough for him.
“He will help us a lot. We need exactly his attitude. To help us step out of the circle of repetitive performances like this.”
Asked about Tuchel’s comments at his unveiling, Kane responded: “The team got off to a bad start yesterday, we conceded early which is never easy and I think it knocked some of the confidence of the players.
“I see players with great quality, great personality. Hopefully with the addition of me, a bit more leadership, we can help the team as well.
“It was disappointing. Any game you lose is disappointing especially when you’re at home, but in time I will try and push the team to a different level.”
