Liverpool’s U16s were taking on Juventus in the Next Generation Trophy 2023, and Cisse alleges that the game had to be stopped after a racist term was used by a 15-year-old from the opposing team.
Writing to his 2million Instagram followers, Cisse said: “Now it’s too much.
“During the game @LiverpoolFC vs @Juventus under 16s (my son Prince Cisse was playing) a kid from Juventus called a @LiverpoolFC a n****.
“The @LiverpoolFC staff had to stop the game. @Juventus what are you gonna do now?
“It’s a f****** shame. 15 years old kid @Juventus, you better act strongly now and shame.”
Reports in Italy from ilmattino.it claim that after the match Juventus’ coach took the child to the Liverpool dressing room to apologise personally.
They also state that ‘Juventus and the club communicated that disciplinary and educational measures will be taken against the boy’.
Along with playing for Liverpool, Cisse’s son Prince has also turned out for Wales’ U16s due to his mother being from the country.
