Daniel Levy ignores Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane deadline and jets off to Miami for family holiday amid transfer saga

Daniel Levy has chosen to ignore Bayern Munich’s deadline for the Harry Kane deal and has responded in a rather interesting way – by going on holiday. According to reports, Bayern had given Tottenham until midnight on Friday to respond to their final offer for Kane, which is believed to be £86 million. However, Levy has shown his indifference to the situation by deliberately letting the ultimatum pass and jetting off to Miami for a weekend getaway with his family. While he may be away during this crucial period, he will be back in London in time for the start of the new Premier League season, which coincides with Kane’s personal deadline for any potential deal. Levy’s tough and uncompromising stance is commendable.

It is worth noting that Kane himself is not actively trying to force a move away from his boyhood club this summer. If the Bayern move does not materialize before the start of the 2023/24 campaign, it is understood that the 30-year-old will stay at White Hart Lane for the final year of his contract and leave for free next summer, unless he decides to sign a new contract with Spurs. However, many believe that it would be foolish for Tottenham to turn down an £86 million offer for their star player, especially considering the risk of losing him for nothing in the future.

TalkSPORT hosts and former Premier League players Darren Bent and Darren Ambrose believe that it is time for Tottenham to move on from Kane. While they both acknowledge his talent and status as the club’s all-time leading scorer, they argue that Spurs have not achieved any major success with him and that it may be necessary to look to the future. This sentiment is echoed by lifelong Tottenham fan Ambrose, who also sympathizes with new manager Ange Postecoglou, as he needs clarity regarding the situation with his star player.

In other news, talkSPORT has launched a new match center where fans can stay updated with all the latest Tottenham fixtures, results, and live Premier League standings. It provides a convenient way to keep track of the team’s progress in the upcoming season.

Overall, the situation surrounding Harry Kane’s potential move to Bayern Munich remains uncertain, but Daniel Levy’s nonchalant response and decision to enjoy a holiday amidst the negotiations demonstrate his unwavering resolve.
The transfer saga of Harry Kane has taken a surprising twist as his current club Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has opted to ignore a deadline placed by Bayern Munich to sign the England striker and instead chose to take a family holiday in Miami.

The 27 year old forward has been the subject of speculation regarding his future for several months and the Bundesliga champions had set a deadline of Wednesday to commit to a deal for Kane, however the Spurs chairman has apparently decided to take some time off and enjoy a family holiday in the US state of Florida instead.

A day after Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge issued the deadline to the London club demanding a response, it appears that he was left as frustrated as ever as Levy seemed to completely ignore any kind of timeframe.

The Tottenham chairman has been persistently linked with moves away for Kane since last summer and with the player himself making little secret of his desire to leave the club it is unsurprising that the manager has opted to make this decision.

This has been a year like no other for the entire world and it appears that Levy wishes to focus on the human side of the game and take some time off whilst avoiding any further controversy surrounding the ongoing transfer saga.

Kane still has two and a half years left on his contract at Spurs and it remains to be seen what, if anything, will come of Bayern’s advances for the striker.

Until then, Daniel Levy has made a statement by deciding to take a break from the saga and has flown to Miami to enjoy a family holiday and have some time away from the speculation surrounding his star player.
