Arsenal have made a busy start to the winter transfer window, already adding two players to their ranks in the form of Martin Odegaard and Mat Ryan. Now, the Gunners are looking to further strengthen their squad, with two more potential signings being eyed.

The first is Jurrien Timber, a highly rated Ajax defender who has been linked with a move to north London. Reports suggest that Arsenal are preparing a £40 million bid for the 18-year-old, which would make him the club’s second most expensive signing ever if he were to move to the Emirates.

The Gunners have also been keeping a close eye on Declan Rice, the West Ham United midfielder who has been strongly tipped to join the London club. Reports have suggested that the England international could cost as much as £105 million – a club record fee – but now it seems that initial injury fears have been allayed, paving the way for a potential move.

Finally, Inter Milan are reportedly set to make a move for Arsenal youngster Folarin Balogun. The 19-year-old has been tipped as one of the hottest prospects in the Premier League but is yet to sign a new deal with the Gunners, meaning he could be set for a move away from north London in the coming weeks.

It’s set to be an interesting few weeks ahead for Arsenal and their transfer plans, with plenty of activity both in and out of the club. It remains to be seen which players will end up at the Emirates this winter.
