It means they have claimed seven points from a possible nine so far in the Premier League, with two goals scored in each game.

Postecoglou was unsurprisingly in good spirits after the full-time whistle and made his way to the TNT Sports studio for an interview.

Upon his entrance he shook hands with pundits Peter Crouch and Joe Cole, as well as presenter Lynsey Hipgrave.

As he sat down on the sofa, one of the production staff attached a microphone under and up his shirt.

He and Postecoglou were certainly up close and person, with the latter proceeding to jokingly say: “Introduce yourself first mate.”

It sparked laughter from Crouch, Cole and Hipgrave before the Spurs boss was questioned about his side’s win.

James Maddison netted his first for the club in the first-half as his low shot crawled into the back of the net.

Just after the hour mark, Dejan Kulusevski made it 2-0 with a close-range finish after Destiny Udogie managed to keep the ball in play.

The result has taken them to the top of the Premier League table – for now.

There is a huge sense of optimism within the Spurs fanbase thanks to the efforts of Postecoglou.

Whilst he maintains a serious demeanour on the touchline, it’s clear to see he can still crack a joke away from the dugout.
