Aleksandar Mitrovic could become teammates with Neymar as Al Hilal submit improved offer to Fulham

Fulham have received an offer of almost £47million from Al Hilal for Aleksandar Mitrovic, talkSPORT understands.

The 28-year-old is one of a number of Premier League stars to attract interest from the Saudi Pro League this summer.

talkSPORT brought you the news that Mitrovic had been offered a £21.3million-per-year contract, equating to £400,000-per-week.

But Fulham rejected both the £25.5m and subsequent £35m offers from the Saudi side before proceeding to slap a £52m price tag on the player.

Mitrovic was reported to have told family that he would never play for Fulham again, despite having three years left on his contract with the club.

Mitrovic has netted a whopping 111 goals in 205 appearances for the west London club having joined on loan in the 2017/18 season before making his move permanent in the summer of 2018.

Last season he also played a key role in helping the club to a tenth place finish in the Premier League following their promotion the previous year.

Should Fulham accept the bid, Mitrovic would face the prospect of playing alongside Brazil superstar Neymar, who’s closing in on a move to Al Hilal.

Al Hilal have also signed Portugal midfielder Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulibaly, former Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, from Chelsea as well as ex-Barcelona forward Malcom.
